President Trump rejected claims that Iran hacked more than 30 Minnesota water systems and blamed Minnesota instead.

Honestly, that makes sense.

Iran is currently getting bombed and has bigger problems than sneaking into some town’s water computer because the password was probably “admin123.”

Trump said Minnesota officials are “grossly incompetent” and blamed Governor Tim Walz, who immediately went online to complain that Trump secretly knows Iran did it.

Sure, Tim.

State officials admitted they still have not identified who actually caused the attack. But newspapers already decided it was probably Iran because federal agencies recently warned that Iranian hackers like targeting water systems.

That is apparently evidence now.

Iran has done similar hacks before, usually by finding equipment connected to the internet with default passwords. So even when Iran does hack something, its elite cyberwarriors are basically just trying “password” until a machine opens.

Several water plants had to switch to manual controls, but the drinking water remained safe.

So the attack accomplished almost nothing, nobody knows exactly who did it, and Walz is using it to give speeches about modern warfare.

Trump’s explanation is simpler:

Maybe Iran did it.

Maybe Minnesota’s computers are just held together with tape.

Either way, change the password.
